Mobile court convicts 43 people in Akwa Ibom state
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has arrested 44 people for violating various traffic regulations in Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking to newsmen, the FRSC State Sector Commander, Mrs. Cecilia Alao, said the arrested traffic violators were taken to a Mobile court, where they were tried.
The court discharged and acquitted one offender.

The remaining 43 offenders were found guilty of their traffic offences, and convicted.
Alao said the court gave the fine option, this ranged from N5, 000 to N20, 000, depending on their offences.
According to Vanguard, these arrests were all made within a year.
