Speaking with journalists on Tuesday, Adewole who was represented by UI's Deputy-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emilolorun Ayelari,‎ explained the institution's new admission process.

"23,200 candidates scored above 200 in UTME, 20,800 applied for the post UTME in our institution and only 19,268 took the screening and examination," he said.
