Agency charges Haliru Mohammed, his son Abbah Mohammed to court

EFCC has charged Haliru Bello Mohammed, former PDP chairman and his son, Abbah Mohammed to court for alleged money laundering.
 
 

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has charged Haliru Bello Mohammed, former PDP chairman and his son, Abbah Mohammed, to court for allegedly being involved in the diversion of funds meant for the procurement of Arms.

Reports say, the ex-minister's son Abbah received the sum of N600 million Naira from ONSA in the name of Bam properties.

Though the case is yet to be assigned to a Judge, reports say the ex-minister and his son are likely to appear in court on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 or Wednesday, December 30, 2015

Most recently, it was reported that the Federal Government is investigating the $2 billion Naira Arms fraud which so far has involved former National security adviser, Sambo Dansuki; Chairman Emeritus of Daar Communications, ; former governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa; and former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda.
