Criminal posts his whereabout on FB, gets arrested

A boneheaded wanted criminal led the police to his arrest after he posted on his Facebook page that he would be at a game and the police duly waited for him there.

A dumb criminal, Joey Patterson, running away from the law could not resist the lure of the social media and actually led the police to his arrest when he posted that he was going to a softball game.

The Caldwell Police Department were equally shocked to actually find the 22-year-old bonehead at the games and got him arrested and is now behind bars.

Caldwell Police Sgt. Joey Hoadley, said monitoring fugitive’s social media accounts is pretty standard nowadays, but some crooks simply haven’t caught on.

"We keep a close eye on that stuff. Surprisingly, even fugitives can’t keep from updating their Facebook status, and it leads to some great arrests."

Patterson was declared wanted for parole violations related to previous fraud charges.
