Being a Christian has its amazing benefits, such as eternal life, peace of mind, that can only come from God, the list is endless.

Unfortunately, it does not automatically take away sin or temptations.

In fact, the Bible tells us that Jesus, the son of God, faced his own tests.

Matthew 4: 8-10; "Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me." Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

As Christians, battling temptations is part pf the deal, because it leads to stronger, better spiritual lives.

Knowing this, the question becomes, 'how do we handle temptations?'

We handle this by running away, fleeing, literally!

Why should we run? We should flee because we are wise, not weak, and because we understand that hanging around, trying to prove something, will only land us in trouble.

Genesis 39: 7- 10 tells us how Potiphar's wife lusted after Joseph, “come and sleep with me,” she demanded.

Let with no choice, Joseph flee.

Verse 12 - "she came and grabbed him by his cloak, demanding, “Come on, sleep with me!” Joseph tore himself away, but he left his cloak in her hand as he ran from the house."
