Temptations are often seen as bad things.
Temptations are God's way of pushing you to greatness
James 1:12 - "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."
Most people, including Christians, think temptations are terrible stumbling blocks set by the Devil.
Todays scripture verse informs us that this mentality is wrong.
James 1:12 - "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."

Temptations are meant to make us stronger, as we only get to know our strengths and how far we can go, when we are not in our comfort zones.
They are challenges used by God to provide His children with spiritual maturity, and push Christians to have faith in their Heavenly Father.
John 14 - “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me."

Temptations also serves as an opportunity to reap the fruits/benefits of the Holy Spirit, which include love, true peace and so much more.
Galatians 5: 22-23 says; "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
They are also chances to praise and acknowledge God, like Job did in the Bible.
Saint Ambrose, one of the most influential ecclesiastical figures of the 4th century, says: "the Devil tempts that he may ruin, God tempts that He may crown."
Remember this whenever you faced with temptations.
