Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter is responding well to cancer treatment and there is no evidence of new malignancy, CNN reported on Tuesday, citing the Carter Center.

Carter, 91, started treatment in August after he said he had undergone surgery for liver cancer and that the cancer had spread to his brain.
