Man who murdered two journalists on live TV pronounced dead

He was identified as Vester L. Flanagan, with on-air name Bryce Williams.

Flanigan is believed to have killed the two journalists.

The man who killed two journalists on live television in Virginia, United States, earlier today, Wednesday, August 26, has been pronounced death after shooting himself as officers tried to approach him.

He was identified as Vester L. Flanagan, with on-air name Bryce Williams.

According to CBS' WTVR, Flanagan is an hold employee, and was fired from the station.

He opened fire on a reporter and photographer, Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27 respectively during a live broadcast at the shopping center where they were conducting an interview.

Report says the journalists were doing a story about a local business at Bridgewater Plaza around 6:45 a.m. when the shooting began.
