Indeed, for some women pregnancy is particularly tough and the last thing on the average pregnant woman's mind is exercising. But according to Leslie Okoye, CEO Cookie Skin, women should work out while pregnant as it greatly aids the delivery process.
In an exclusive chat with Pulse, the Cookie Skin CEO revealed that it's been scientifically proven that exercise during pregnancy aids the labour process, making delivery easier and reducing the chances of having to do a cesarean section.
She further revealed that she herself, had infact worked out while pregnant for her 2 children.
"I ran all through my pregnancy and also did some weights. I delivered my baby in the 3rd push and under 5 minutes"
