Facebook deletes account of woman named ISIS on terrorism suspicion

A woman named Isis has taken to Twitter to rant at Facebook for deleting her account just because of her name.

Isis Anchalee took to twitter to vent her fury, insisting that she wouldn't change her given name just because of Facebook's misguided reactions.

Facebook reportedly deleted a her account because the social network 'thought she was a terrorist', simply because she coincidentally shared the same name as the terrorist group, ISIS.

After some users suggested she change the name and make use her initials instead, she fired back saying she won't change her birth name because Jihadists use it.

Anchalee reports that she sent Facebook a copy of her passport to prove her account was genuine.

Her story only emerged after a friend asked her why an exchange of messages between themselves had been marked 'spam'.
