The model, Stina Sanders, who is reportedly based in London, revealed how she had been warned by her agency that posting "ugly" photos would stall her trade.
Sander's natural photos without filter or make up which show her acne and eczema, making her human, were reportedly referred to as ugly.
Despited the negative reactions she got from her agency, Sander's went on to share more candid photos, only to notice that she began to lose followers.
The young model eventually lost 5,000 followers and as if to make matters worse, her modelling agency demanded she take down the photos.
Speaking with Daily Telegraph, Sanders said:
"'You need to stop sharing these ugly images,’ they told me.‘You might find it hard to get work if you continue to post images of your acne and eczema'.
"They asked me to take the images down but I said no. Why? Well, every modelling image is airbrushed to an unrealistic degree. There's no denying that even the model in the photo can't ever look as beautiful as the model in the photo."
Following the resulting hostility arising from the photos she has shared, the reports reveal that Sanders had eventually left the modelling agency to sign up with a new one.
