2 ways these thieves prey on their victims in Lagos state

With the numerous cases of theft and high amount of arrests, it is safe to say that traffic robbery has increased in Lagos state.

Thankfully, the mode of operation for traffic robbers has been revealed.

The following are two tricks used by these criminals.

By pretending to be hawkers- In order to get close enough to steal from people during traffic, robbers disguise as street hawkers. This enables them to prey on prospective buyers during traffic jams.

By pretending to be passengers- They also disguise as passengers which gives them free access to steal from other passengers. One of the five traffic robbers arrested by the Police revealed this in his confession.

Most times, we pretended as passengers to rob people."
