Overspeeding leaves 4 injured people in Abuja

A Road Traffic Crash (RTC) has left four injured people in Constitution Avenue, close to the National Mosque, Abuja.

FCT has the highest number of accidents in Nigeria

In an interview with Pulse, a Police officer, at the scene, said the accident, involved three cars, adding the incident was caused by overspeeding.

"We learnt that the black Honda car driver is a young guy in his early twenties who just arrived Nigeria from England. He was coming from Sheraton turn driving in speed towards National Mosque."

"In the Navy blue car is mechanic who was on his way to deliver to the car to the owner while the Honda (silver), is a young man and his wife were coming from the national hospital."

As you can see, this accident was caused by over speeding. The victims have been taken to the hospital and we're doing our best to move these vehicles from here," he said.

The accident took place on Constitution Avenue, close to the National Mosque.
