Samsung Wireless Charger and S6 Edge

The latest research numbers into which OEM is the king of the smartphone world are now in and Korean tech giant, Samsung, is still reigning on top of the smartphone world despite the declining sales of its current Galaxy S6 flagship device.

Samsung managed to hold a 19% market share for this quarter, with Apple coming in second with a distant 10%, and Huawei holding up on the third spot with a 7% market share figure.

To be clear, the aforementioned numbers are for mobile phone sales as a whole, when just smartphones are considered, a segment which currently rules with about 75% of the available market share, Samsung still remains top with a respectable 21%, followed by Apple with 14%, and Huawei with 9%.
