Interswitch’s Quickteller platform is already the most popular online payment platform in Nigeria. Visa cardholders will be able to use their cards for the full range of payment services offered. Also commenting on the new collaboration between the two platforms, Ade Ashaye, country director, Visa in West Africa said: “One of the primary goals of Visa in Nigeria is opening up the benefits of electronic payments through a number of different platforms in the bid to drive the government agenda of a cashless economy.
