One of the suspects, 25-year old Jonathan Okeke, claimed to have no knowledge that his wares were pirated. However, Ajang said the commission would take inventory of the confiscated goods and prosecute the suspects after it has concluded its investigations.

A few months ago, the NCC also seized works worth N4 million in ilorin in a similar action in the ongoing fight against piracy all over the country.
