The first presentation was made by Anu Sanya, business and strategic partnership lead at Terragon Group. Sanya spoke on the topic: The new age consumer, his mobile and absolute kingship - What's all this hype about the consumer?
She explained how the mobile consumer was king and how the industry has gotten to that point whilst giving insights that marketers need to pay attention to. She rounded off by giving strategies for engagement on how to win and keep the attention of the mobile consumer.
The second and final presentation was done by Riccardo Pasqualotto, Founder and sales director at The Mobi Hunter who spoke on the topic: Developing a strategic link between the marketer and the consumer - The development of a bridge between marketer and consumer.
Pasqualotto explained how to understand the mobile consumer using data gathered by his company and gave insights on how to efficiently connect to the modern day mobile consumer.
The Mobi Hunter boss rounded up his presentation highlighting what brands, advertisers and marketers need to be aware of to take connection with the mobile consumer to the next level.
Next on the agenda was the panel which comprised of the earlier speakers as well as Fiyin Williams, Brand Manager - Digital Marketing at Diageo, and Riku Salminen, CEO and co-founder of Jongla, a new 'light' messaging app which I wrote an article on yesterday.
The panel discussed the most effective and engaging way to reach the consumer of today's mobile-centric age and took questions from participants before chairperson Banke Alawaye rounded up the session.
