E-commerce company shares love at Little Saints Orphanage

Konga has reached out to less privileged children at Little Saints Orphanage, Akowonjo, Lagos to show them love as it develops partnership with various homes.

During the visit, the Matron for the Little Saints Orphanage Akowonjo branch, Mrs. Famous, enlightened the visiting Konga staff on the history of Little Saints Orphanage and its journey of rescuing abused and ravished children through the years. She further explained to the Konga team the legal way to adopt an orphan in Lagos State.

“Konga’s commitment to seeking opportunities to show love and make lasting impact in the society drives us to give back as we seek out children from credible homes to support them morally and financially so they can look beyond their past and strive to be all they aspire to be,” said Mayowa Adebayo; Director, Customer Experience & Marketing, speaking on the visit.

She further added that in the coming months, Konga will be embarking on more initiatives aimed at helping children harness their potentials especially in technology related fields.

Mrs. Famous expressed gratitude to Konga.com for the love and thought in reaching out to children at the home.

Prior to this, Konga sponsored a number of children from the Lagos State Government Motherless Babies Home to the Audax Code School 2015 Summer Classes aimed at teaching children web programming skills. The company also donated laptops to students of the Bethsaida School of the Blind in Mushin who had started learning to use laptops despite their sight deficiency.
