Jack Dorsey, 38, is a billionaire and Twitter's new permanent CEO

According to a company filing and a Twitter announcement, Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter will move on from being the company’s interim CEO, a position he took when former CEO Dick Costolo resigned in June, to take up a permanent position as the company’s CEO.

This will be the second time Dorsey will be holding the top position at the social media giant. He had been fired as CEO back in 2008, after which he went on to set up a mobile payments company, Square, which is now valued at $6 billion.

He remains CEO of both Square in addition to his new position as permanent CEO of Twitter. Here are 11 facts you didn’t know about him:
