There had been reports that the EU regulators were looking into Google’s own apps being bundled with new Android devices and the issue of manufacturers having to use all of Google’s apps on their devices whether they wanted to or not.
At the moment there are no details on what the FTC investigation may be about, but it is possible that the US regulators could be looking into Google for the same reason as the EU regulators.
