Slack has a new fan and it is none other than popularly tech savvy Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull.

According to a spokesperson for the Prime Minister, Turnbull is working on ways of improving communication amongst members of government.
Turnbull is well known for his interest in emerging technology and according to a report in The Australian, he is hoping that his colleagues on the cabinet will share his drive for technology.
At a cabinet meeting on Sept. 15, Turnbull argued that the cabinet should revamp its methods of communication and advocated for the adoption of workplace collaboration tool Slack.
According to a spokesperson for the Prime Minister, Turnbull is working on ways of improving communication amongst members of government.
"The Prime Minister is also discussing with all of his colleagues the best way for communication and that includes looking at new technology," said the spokesperson.
Slack is an internal social network for businesses, launched in 2014, that borrows features like hashtags from other social media platforms like Twitter and applies them to work.
