Hands on review of new Android smartphone

Check out the examination of HTC One M9 as HTC focuses its upgrade efforts on tweaks to camera and audio capabilities, see hands on video below.

HTC just released its new top-of-the-line smartphone, the One M9, and it seems to be more of evolution than revolution.

Though the predecessors in this range set a high quality bar, HTC evidently does not feel the need to make radical revisions in the design department — or add more sensors to compete with the premium competition.

Hence, you will not find fingerprint sensors or heart rate monitors on the One M9.

The look and feel of the One M9 is very similar to last year’s One M8, but under the hood there’s a beefed up processor, 3GB of RAM, a better camera, on front and back, and a few new contextual smarts on the software side, with HTC’s Sense 7 Android skin now adapting the applications you see on the home screen depending on usage and where you are.

The One range’s trademark BoomSound speakers have also been augmented with Dolby Audio processing.

Check out the video below for hands on overview of the HTC One M9 from techcrunch and let us know what you think.

It will go on sale at the end of this month.
