New leaked images confirm the Android-powered Priv will feature 64-bit processor and 4K recording capabilities

Just a few weeks after BlackBerry CEO, John Chen, confirmed that the company will be launching an Android powered smartphone which will be known as the Priv, a new set of leaked images have confirmed some of the key specs of the device.

The images confirm that the upcoming device will definitely be powered by an SoC (expected to be a Snapdragon 808) with a 64-bit processor.

Along with the processor, the leaked images also confirm that the Priv will carry an 18MP Schneider Kreuznach main camera unit which will be able to record 4K video.

The upcoming smartphone will also sport a pre-installed security app called BlackBerry safeguard which will show the device’s current security status, look at how other apps are using information, set a pattern-based screen lock, scan the device for malware, amongst other things.
