One of the leading e-commerce platforms, Konga, has reportedly had about N1 billion in Black Friday transactions alone and still going strong.

According to a very reliable source, over a period of about 18 hours, Konga saw about N1 billion worth of transactions in its Yakata Black Friday sale.

This was communicated to employees of the company in an internal mail sent by the COO of the company, Mr. Shola Adekoya. We are yet to receive a comment from Konga on this as at press time.

The source also affirms that the company expects transactions to exceed the N1.2 billion mark before the sale closes at the end of the day.
