Five youths have been arrested by the police in Ozoro, Delta state for the gang rape of a female student of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, Miss Favour Orji.
According to the Police, the suspects are Ekperierie Weomazino, Awolowo Abel, Chukwuka Godspower , Wilson Odili, and Ojumah Kelvin.
In a press statement quoted by Daily Times, the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Celestina Kalu said the alleged rapists also took nude photographs f their victims.
Kalu said the victim reported the assault, which took place on the 30th of August, 2014, on the Ozoro Police station.

One of the suspect, Ekperierie Weomazino (m), had invited Orji to accompany him to collect his handset.
Weomazino however had other designs.
“The victim added that on reaching the junction, the said Ekperierie Weomazino and four others raped her and thereafter photographed her while she was naked," the statement read.
Kalu said "detectives swung into action and arrested the said Ekperierie Weomazino and his cohorts" following Orji's complaint.
Investigation are ongoing.
