A governorship aspirant and philanthropist in Abia State,Dr Uchechukwu Samson Ogah (OON, FCA), has organized a day of free lunch for students of tertiary institution in the state.
Governorship Aspirant Feeds 5000 Abia Abia Students
Dr Ogah, an aspirant for the governorship of Abia state, has given free food to students of the state. Many will see his move as a political stunt.
The event was organized under the Uche Ogah Charity Apostolate.
Student Pulse gathered that over 5000 students benefitted from the free lunch program which held at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike and Abia State University, Umuahia as well as other institutions in the state.
Tribune reports that the organizers arrived at the institution with trucks loaded with food and drinks which was distributed in the presence of academic and non-academic staff.
Ugah, President Masters Energy Group, is is a well known philanthropist aspiring for the governorship of Abia State.
Many will however see his gesture as a political stunt even though the coordinator, Chief Ezenwa Onwukwe, reportedly denied the connection.
