While registering for the UTME, interested candidates will be given the option to indicate interest in taking the mock exams.

While the UTME registration fee will cost N5,500 only, the CBT centres are allowed to collect (through the CBT centre bank accounts) another N700 for the mock test. This second payment will be done after candidates have received CBT centres.

Payment must be done, according to the statement from JAMB, only after candidates have been notified of their CBT centres.

It wasn't until 2015 that the board went full scale CBT, and they haven't looked back since.

The biggest challenge CBT faces remains infrastructural problems, lack poor power supply, bad internet connectivity, shortage of computers amongst other things.

Visually impaired candidates will still have interview-based examinations.
