Varsity sets up committee to probe students unrest
The senate body of the Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB) has reportedly set up an investigative committee to probe the recent students unrest.
The decision was made during an emergency meeting held recently following the students' unrest in and around the University Main Gate, Isolu, Camp, Eleweran and surrounding communities in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The committee will be burdened with investigating the causes of the unrest as well as recommending solutions to the senate following the conclusion of their investigations.
The committee is reportedly calling for memoranda from members of the general public who were directly or indirectly affected by the unrest as well as others who may have suffered losses or damages to their person or properties.
