Board sets up CCTV cameras in 642 centres for 2017 UTME
Prof. Is-haq Oloyede also disclosed that 321 blind candidates would participate in the examinations.
The disclosure was made by the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, on Tuesday, May 9, while speaking to journalists in Abuja about the board’s preparations for the exams.

He also disclosed that 321 blind candidates would participate in the examinations.
Oloyede added that Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, will be mounted in all the various centers and adequate security arrangement will be provided in a bid to curtail examination malpractice.
He, however, noted that many candidates and parents are yet to recover from what he describes as “technophobia”, the fear of technology, as they think that the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) method make things difficult.
