The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) reportedly gave a 2-week ultimatum to the varsity management to implement the agreement they entered, or the staff will go on strike.
Union threatens to go on strike
The strike action will commence February 14 if the university authorities and the Nasarawa state government continue to ignore the union's demands.

Chairman of the union, Dr Theopholius Daniel Lagi, made this known in an interview with DailyTrust recently.
According to Lagi, the strike action will commence February 14 if the university authorities and the Nasarawa state government continue to ignore the union's demands.

The demands included issues on promotions, faulty university laws, appointments as well as indiscipline.
