Super Eagles coach blast critics, former colleagues in rant video

Oliseh has been targeted by critics who criticize him for Super Eagles Team B poor outing at the just concluded

He has also been in the news lately over his choice to stay in Belgium rather than Nigeria.

In a video posted on his Youtube page, Oliseh blasted his critics and those who are pressuring him to invite some players.

"No matter what these usual critics say as long as I’m coach of the super eagles of Nigeria and I won't pay anybody to write anything good about me," he said.

"I will not heed to those people who keep calling from the back to invite their players and do business so I can have them play for Nigeria."

The Super Eagles coach who played in the national team from 1993 to 2002 also blasted his former colleagues who have been criticising him publicly.

Without mentioning names, Oliseh pointed out that the former colleagues criticising him were the ones who spent their playing days on the Super Eagles bench.

He however urged them to go into coaching if they feel they can do better than him.

Further speaking in the video, Oliseh revealed that he didn't want the Super Eagles job when he was approached.

"I didn't beg for this job, I never wanted this job, I refused it twice and it took the intervention of  a highly respected friend of mine who was in government for me to take this job," Oliseh said.
