The federation in April signed a N2.5B sponsorship deal with an oil and gas firm, Aiteo. The company will give the NFF N500m every year to pay national team coaches.
It seems the NFF have received funds from the company as about 15 national team coaches were at the federation’s office in Abuja on Tuesday, May 16 for reconciliation and harmonisation of the outstanding wages.
Chief coach of the Super Eagles Salisu Yusuf was among a host of coaches that were at the NFF office.
Others included Alloy Agu, Fatai Amoo, David Ngodigha, Monday Odigie, Manu Garba, Nduka Ugbade, Edwin Okon, Chris Danjuma, Peter Dedevbo, Toyin Ayinla, Lateef Yusuf, Bala Mohammed, Ann Chiejine and Bala Nikyu.
Eagles coach, Rohr and Super Falcons coach, Florence Omagbemi, were however absent.
