The Nigeria Professional Football League All-star team is currently in Spain ahead of a friendly game against La Liga side, Valencia.
A NPFL All-Stars are in a tour of Spain as a result of a partnership between La Liga and the League Management Company (LMC) organisers of Nigerian league.
After arriving in Spain, the players quickly got to training ahead of their friendly game at Valencia training ground.
They face Valence on Wednesday, August 10 and the match revenue will be used to raise funds to help the municipalities in the Valencia region who suffered from forest fires in June.
The group, consisting of 25 players from the Nigerian league is being managed by the Chief Coach of the Super Eagles, Salisu Yusuf.
Speaking to a new conference ahead of the friendly against Valencia, Yusuf assured that the players will give a good representation of their country in the game.
"We know that Valencia is a big club in a big league. We have seen their high standard facilities and good level of organisation but we are here to give a good account of ourselves and to promote our country and our football. We will give Valencia a good match," Yusuf said at a press conference at the Valencia FC Media Centre alongside Valencia coach, Pako Ayestaran.
"We know their style of play. We know they like to attack and they like to win and we are ready for them.”
After the game, they will head to Cadiz for the prestigious Ramon de Carranza trophy where they will square up against Malaga CF.
