According to a statement by Dalung’s Special Assistant on Media, Nneka Ikem, the meeting will hold on Tuesday, February 28 at the National Stadium, Abuja.

Dalung in the statement emphasised the need for all executive members of the NFF to be present at the meeting scheduled for 11 am.

The agenda for the meeting was not revealed but it has been rumoured that the NFF’s position on the forthcoming election into the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) which will hold on Thursday, March 16.

Pulse Sports could not reach Nneka Ikem to confirm it.

NFF president Amaju Pinnick has openly declared his support for Ahmad Ahmad.

Dalung had his director of press, Tolu Makinde distance himself from Pinnick’s decision stating that it was “his personal opinion and do not represent the position of the government and people of Nigeria.”

Pinnick is also vying for a seat in CAF Football Executive Committee board to displace the incumbent and long standing member Anjorin Moucharafou who is also the head of Benin Republic Football Federation.
