England FA tries to stop player from representing Nigeria

Iwobi was born in Lagos, Nigeria but moved to England and represented them at the U-16, U-17 and U-18 levels.

Even though he has been capped by Nigeria, the English FA are making an attempt to stop Iwobi from playing for the Super Eagles again.

The 19-year-old made his Super Eagles debut in a and is still eligible to play for England as he has not represented Nigeria in a competitive game.

According to the Mirror, England have been attracted by his form for Arsenal as he has become regular in the Gunners' first team set-up since the turn of the year.
