Super Eagles forward scores 1st league goal for CSKA Moscow on return

Ahmed Musa was in action for all 90 minutes for CSKA Moscow against FC Ufa.

Musa rejoined CSKA Moscow on a loan deal from in the winter transfer window.

Musa was in the starting line up and was in action for all 90 minutes against Ufa in the league encounter.

Also in action in the encounter was Nigerian striker Sylvester Igboun who played all 90 minutes for FC Ufa

Playing away from home, CSKA were a goal down when Dmitri Sysuev scored for the home side in the 41st minute.

Ahmed Musa scored his first league goal since rejoining the club when he equalized inside in the penalty area in the 78th minute.

The goal is Musa's second official goal since joining after his first against encounter.

CSKA, however, could not build upon Musa’s equalizer to go ahead and win the match as they settled for a draw.

The result leaves CSKA Moscow out of the Champions League qualification spots as they currently occupy the fourth place which seals an Europa league spot.

Musa and his teammates are 10 points behind league leaders Lokomotiv Moscow with four more round of league matches to be played.

CSKA Moscow take on Amkar in their next league match on Wednesday, April 18.
