Striker says he wants to stay at CSKA Moscow

Samuel in February joined CSKA Moscow on loan from Chineseclub Guangzhou R&F and has managed two league goals this season.

Speaking to Pulse TV at the testimonial game of ex-Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, the striker said he will be handed a permanent deal at CSKA Moscow if he can prove his fitness.

“I want to remain at the club, I don’t want to go back to my former club,” Samuel who is currently nursing a knee injury told Pulse TV.

CSKA Moscow won the Russian Premier League and the 21-year-old also confirmed to Pulse TV that he picked up a winners’ medal.

Speaking about Yobo, the striker who never played with the former defender says he has always admired him and look at him as a mentor.

The 21-year-old, Pulse Sports have learnt is now in Germany for the surgery on his injured knee which prevented him from taking part in Yobo’s testimonial.
