Kaliné brings out the sun; joyful summer rays and awesome retro music in her newest release titled ‘Tell you of my love’.

In recent times, she’s released conscious music, so it’s nice to see her return with another love song.

The most exciting thing about listening to her new tune is that this isn’t a jazz or R&B track but rather it’s a cheerful mid tempo combination of jazz, R&B and afrobeat. You read right, Kaliné played with afrobeat!

‘Tell you of my love’ is about a girl in love with a guy and afraid to ‘fess up about how she feels. Eventually she summons the courage to tell him.

Now because the singer is a pianist and a film score composer,some of us automatically stereotype her to be significantly polished. The songbird with the ‘fro reveals a whole new side to her personality in her lyric video. She’s in shorts, funky sunglasses and having fun dancing shoki and azonto the sun.

One of the great things about living in a city like Lagos is the fact that it’s always summer, we’ve got amazing sunshine and great weather most of the year, so Kaline’s song is the perfect match for any summer vibe.
