Failure does not mean He is done with you
No, I am not a pastor or minister or anything like that. What I am is a growing believer moved to share my discoveries about God, and this thing called life with you.
This is because failing can be so devastating and as a result, we may feel like God has abandoned us.
However, it is very important not to allow failure cripple our faith in Our Father in Heaven.
Why? Because we have proof in the Bible that failure does not mean things are over.
Proverbs 24:16 states that, "The godly may trip seven times, butBut one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked."
The Bible also says that His strength is made perfect in our weakness (failures).
2 Corinthians 12:9 - "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."
When faced with failures simply call on His name and He will answer.
Psalm 50:15 says,"Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."
Jeremiah 33:3 also says, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
Here are some more Bible verses to hold on to in the face of failure.
Psalm 73:26 - “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 - “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
Philippians 1:6 - “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Remember, the fact that we are still alive should stop us from giving into the depressing feeling that tends to come with failure.
As long as there is life, there is still room for God to work his magic and turn things around in your favour.
No matter what kind of failure we might experience, always remember that it does not mean God is done with you.
