Author Explains Why Christian men Cannot Find A Good Wife

The writer says some men do not allow God lead them when looking for a life partner

Tobi Atte, a writer, neuro linguistic programming practitioner and motivational coach who owns a lifestyle blog “I Just Met Me,” recently listed reasons why men may never find a good wife when choosing a life partner.

Atte wrote that the reason why dedicated, mature, Christian men can’t find their perfect partner is because they spend too much time looking for that woman, instead of trusting God to provide.

He continued the article which some men wrongly believe that they must search for their Ruth, Ester or Mary from the Bible by using the best tactics they can imagine, supporting the reason with Proverbs 18:22 which says “he who finds a wife finds a good thing,” explaining that the scripture really means that she is like a treasure you will find, if you allow God to lead you.

Here are some other points listed by Atte on why some Christian cannot find the woman of their dreams:

1. Men should always be plunging forward in life, even if they are not sure of their direction. As long as they believe they are following the path chosen by God, they are on the right trail, but to sit around and wait until they know where they are going, is just being lazy.

2. Single Christian men should stop looking for what they believe to be the perfect woman and look at what God is doing with the woman’s life right in front of your eyes. Just because she doesn’t fill your expectations, doesn’t mean that she doesn’t live up to His.

3. Too many single Christian men try to lead others, including the woman they desire, but are not ready to be led by God or others whom He has chosen to lead them. Remember that Romans 8:14 states that to be a son of God, you must be led by the spirit of God.

4. Some men want the perfect woman chosen by God, but believe it is their God given right and are not willing to earn that woman. A man should strive to earn those things which God wants us to have, including a wife.

5. Many single Christian men believe that it is their right to demand submission from their wives, but don’t have to listen to what that God fearing woman has to say. If you really want a virtuous woman, then you must let her handle the things she knows most about and take her advice when necessary.
