Chairman of facebook tells muslim student to 'Keep inventing'

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook co-founder and CEO comments on the the 14-year-old Muslim student who was arrested for bringing a clock to school.

Ahmed Mohamed, Muslim and a ninth grade student of MacArthur High School in Irving Texas was arrested and sent to juvenile detention on Monday for  bringing and homemade clock to school.

Ahmad who is  an award-winning robotics inventor and tinkerer, said he decided to link a circuit board, power supply and a digital clock display together inside a pencil case for his invention.

He brought the device to school hoping to impress some teachers, but the first one who saw the clock immediately told him "not to show any other teachers."

Mark in his facebook post said;

"You’ve probably seen the story about Ahmed, the 14 year old student in Texas who built a clock and was arrested when he took it to school.

Having the skill and ambition to build something cool should lead to applause, not arrest. The future belongs to people like Ahmed.
