Investors see Nigeria as best investment destination

By Standard Bank’s projections, retail and office property demand and flow of investment will increase in the coming years.

Nigerian real estate sector

Property investment experts say Nigeria’s growing population, which stands at over 170million people, is the major reason it is seen as the darling of real estate investors.

International realtors actually refer to Nigeria as the “African continent’s premier destinations for property developments.”

Standard Bank Head Real Estate Finance, Gary Garrett, in a chat with Africa Property News, said that the availability of crude oil in Nigeria and other African countries will always trigger an increase in the demand for property.

Citing the influx of foreign nationals who work with major oil corporations as a major factor.
