'Avoid shortcuts, and approach housing as a system, not a brick-and-mortar problem'- readers tell Buhari
Pulse readers agree with building construction expert, Mr Anthony Olowoyeye, who has some valuable housing tips for the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
In light of Nigeria's 17 million housing deficit, Olowoyeye urged Buhari to change his approach and avoid shortcuts.
"If the administration could approach housing, not as a brick-and-mortar problem, but as a system; then the housing hopes of many Nigerians will not only be realised, they will also flourish.
The president cannot afford to simply throw money at the housing problem; he would do well to stop the `Jankara Marketisation’ of housing in Nigeria."
Pulse readers were asked to weigh in.
They all agreed with this insightful advice.
I agree too.
