CEO expresses hope for Nigeria's real estate sector
Propertygate’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Adetokunbo Ajayi, says 2016 will be a good year for Nigeria's real estate sector.
During a media chat concerning 2015's activities, he said the industry will withstand all it's challenges.
“Events in the few days of 2016 are already suggesting there are tougher battles to fight, we believe opportunities for success in 2016 in our subsector still exist.
We expect government at all levels to embark on concerted efforts to reflate the economy; promote social order; and restore confidence by giving heightened share of voice to effort to uplift the country, as against the almost single narative of gloom that is currently being aired."
Another real estate expert has made an optimistic prediction about Nigeria's sector.
UK property expert, Mr Herbert Chapel, predicts an influx of foreign investors, which will boost the country's economy and real estate sector.
"If tempo continues, a lot of thing would go in for the country Nigeria, because people who would be here for business would also bring fund and experts in various sectors and this, you know is another way of giving unsolicited training to the populace."
