"Except election is rigged, APC will lose in 2019" - Elder statesman says

President Muhammadu Buhari (Telegraph)

Yakasai, a former presidential adviser in the Second Republic stated this in his Kano residence when Raymond Dokpesi led members of his campaign team to seek his support for his PDP chairmanship bid at the forthcoming national convention in Port Harcourt.

“In my opinion, Nigerians will vote out APC in 2019 because they are complaining over the cost of living and the rate of poverty is on the increase", Yakasai said.

I don’t see how APC will win if they don’t manipulate the process. How much was a dollar last year, how much is it now? What about the cost of bag of rice, basket of tomatoes and others. Farmers are complaining about fertilizers but it was not like this when PDP was in power,” he added

Similarly, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has criticised President Muhammadu Buhariover his poor handling of the economic situation in the country.

Mbaka, who claimed that Nigeria is being attacked ferociously, said Buhari should know that there is trouble in the land.

He also warned the President to note that if things continue like this, nobody will vote for him in 2019.
