Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, has turned off his phone lines after the long session that indicted Senate President, Bukola Saraki for assets declaration fraud.

The report further revealed that all avenues reached to speak with the Justice Umar failed as his phones had been switched off following the tribunal last session on Friday.

According to a report by the Nation Newspaper, Justice Umar, has allegedly remained unreachable to stave off pressure from the Saraki’s associates, politicians and supporters after the Friday, September 18, 2015 ruling.
The police is yet to arrest Saraki because it was still awaiting a copy of the Bench warrant from the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
The Force Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Olabisi Kolawole, tersely hinted this when contacted by Nation Newspaper.
“We are yet to receive the bench warrant,” she said.
