Fayose, Obanikoro, others accused of using army to rig polls [VIDEO]

Former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro and Senator Iyiola Omisore were also accused of participating in the alleged rigging after an audio recording, supposedly of them discussing the election malpractice, surfaced.

The Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has been accused of participating in election rigging to secure his victory in the state governorship elections which held in June 2014.

Former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro and Senator Iyiola Omisore were also accused of participating in the alleged rigging after an audio recording, supposedly of them discussing the election malpractice, surfaced.

According to Sahara Reporters, the audio recordings and an affidavit were provided by Sagir Koli, a Captain in the 32nd Artillery Brigade stationed in Ekiti State, who was present at the meeting and has since left the country out of fear for his life.

Also named in the accusations are the Minister for Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade, Brigadier General Aliyu Momoh, Chris Uba and one Honorable Abdulkareem.
