The WHO has described this year’s outbreak as the worst ever and has recorded a total of 4,293 confirmed cases within West Africa.
The body has also warned that the numbers are very likely to rise with Liberia being the worst hit.
The Liberian Defense Minister, Brownie Samukai has said that the outbreak poses a “serious threat” to the nation’s very existence.
