Nigerian rapper, Naeto C will not be releasing an album this year.
The past 6 weeks have seen a rise in the number of albums released, with 6 solo albums hitting the market, but the rapper who released a single recently, ‘What you want’ featuring BOJ and Ajebutter22, and also recorded a soon-to-be-released song with indigenous rapper, Phyno titled ‘China’, believes that the Nigerian public is not ready for an album from him yet.
“I’m not dropping an album yet,” Naeto C told NET. “I don’t think the market is ready yet, we have enough materials to drop an album but I think we need to work the fans a bit and get them excited with more singles and videos before dropping an album.”
Naeto C’s debut album, ‘You Know My P’ dropped in 2008 while his sophomore album, ‘Super C Season’ dropped in 2011. Both albums were instrumental in his rise to fame.
