Jennifer Lopez return for season 2 of cop series

The National Broadcasting Company (NBC) has picked up a second season of Jennifer Lopez’s in cop drama “Shades of Blue,”

The broadcast network announced the renewal comes as a result of Lopez’s star power and also “Shades of Blue” still maintains its rating as one of NBC’s biggest debuts in recent years.

The number of episodes for the second season wasn’t revealed, it is going to be another busy year for Jlo whose scheduled are already tight with her music career, “American Idol” and her recent Las Vegas residency.

Summary

Detective Harlee Santos (Lopez) is an NYPD detective and single mother struggling with financial problems.

When she is caught up in an FBI anti-corruption probe, she must choose between doing the right thing for her daughter or covering up for her corrupt police co-workers.
